sofcrew Posted May 14, 2025 Report Posted May 14, 2025 i cannot get any of the commands to work and it is driving me insane. i can't give myself a skill or spawn in the skillbooks. i really have no idea what i'm missing. for example: /skillbook mining 300 normal-red /skillbook mining 300 red /tier add sofcrew mining veinminer /tier add sofcrew mining veinminer 1 I have op. i'm so confused and it's giving me a headache

CrimzonEmpire Posted June 11, 2025 Report Posted June 11, 2025 Dunno if this is already reported but if you take the cooking perk that allows more per serving anyone else who opens or touches the cooking campfire etc will break the code and the food will not cook and you have to start over again without anyone else touching it.

If there is a perk that increases the chance of the cuttings taking root during planting, it shows a 60% chance of success. After exiting the game and entering, the probability of settling down again is 40%

The reason for these questions are for a server that is a bit more than vanilla +, but still survival. Can I disable a skill completely and/or have a setting to where that skill is not available until a "parent" skill has reached a certain level. (Example: Mining/metalworking - Once Mining reaches level 5 and you select mining as your profession, then you can begin to see and actually collect the metalworking xp? (side question can we increase the level in which you can claim a skill as a profession) Ok so, 2 ish questions in truth, but thanks in advance!

But the server keeps disconnecting the smith after finishing a product that uses more than one ingot, shortly after the other person also gets kicked, any ideas? Im currently reading through this forum in hopes of finding a solution for this matter by myself, but as someone who rarely hosts servers and is relatively new to VS im not really sure how to approach this. In an older post is saw someone fixing this issue by removing the skill mods from the "DisabledMods" line from the serverconfig.json...sadly this doesnt work in my case, cus they aint even listed there Edit: Well the solution was a lot simpler than expected...by using the 1click download from the offical mod site, it made us download a old version of the skill mods... I went to the sites of your mods, clicked files, downloaded the latest version, deleted the old ones and it fixed the problem... Edited August 8, 2025 by Saerdna

Even after doing Reset and adding levels back to the skill- I can no longer add levels to my metalworking skills. Any help would be greatly appreciated <3

Thanks It is intentional exp multipliers are not applied for books. So you don't have to stock your books until you have your multipliers. It is called brickred. So the command should be: "/skillbook mining 300 normal-brickred". Opening the firepit will make you the owner of the firepit. The owner should be shown in the tooltip. Only abilities of the owner can be applied to the firepit. In previous versions the last person who put stuff in the cooking pot was the owner but apparently this could cause issues when people just shift+clicked items into the fire pit. But the mod also supports custom values if you now how you can patch json files. The average price depends on the amount of the experience you will receive from the book. There is a synchronisation issue from the server to client. So the client does not know that the bonus was applied. Someone mentioned that you can go away from the tree so that is no longer loaded and when you go near it again the value may be correct again. You could try this. But they are still affected by combat abilities. Adding the XSkillsEntity behavior to animals may cause issues because the XSkillsAnimal behavior already contains the XSkillsEntity behavior. This change was part of some code simplification. This is a known issue. The game doesn't like changing the saturation cap. But you could add the mining profession as a requirement for every metalworking ability which simulates something similar. But you can not disable the experience gain for a skill while the skill is enabled in general. If you have such an issue it is helpful to add the crash report from the server log files or the clients. If you are playing multiplayer you have to make a mod that uses JSON patching to remove this part. You could also just remove all 'class' requirements at once. 3

Can I add an exception so that the mod knows that it works for this pickaxe too? I can open the .dll but I can't find anything like :tools:pickaxe
