Karhnage Posted September 14, 2025 Report Posted September 14, 2025 Really confused as to why this happens, it happens in "low-lying" areas of terrain as well (sorry if formatting or post is weird, first time doing so!)
Professor Dragon Posted September 15, 2025 Report Posted September 15, 2025 Which version are you on? The last stable version has this fix: Tweak: Color grading fine tuning. Should fix cases of extremely bright fog But the fog should be a "some of the time thing" and not an "all of the time thing" as it is weather dependent. Give it a few days of sunshine and check back?
Karhnage Posted September 15, 2025 Author Report Posted September 15, 2025 Dragon, I don't actually know what version I'm on but I'm pretty sure I can update, so I'll try that out, thankyou so much!

If you're NOT on the current stable version, then you'll get an "update" message at the top left of the front main screen. The version is displayed at the bottom right of the main screen. Bear in mind that there are probably still fog issues in game. I'd still try waiting a few days and see if it changes. 1

Awesome, thankyou! ^^ (wish there was some sort or "profile award" or "post award" like you can give on Steam/Reddit...) Edited September 15, 2025 by Karhnage 1

There kind of is--you can leave reactions on content and the results are tallied on the user's profile. It helps them rank up. However, I will also note if you author a thread in the Questions section of the forum specifically, then you can choose to highlight the particular post that best answered your question. 1

Noted, sorry for all the basic questions, but how would one go about doing that...?

The same way you create a thread anywhere else on the forums, but in this section specifically: https://www.vintagestory.at/forums/forum/6-questions/ Highlighting the best answer for a thread is a unique feature of the Questions section, but it only works for threads in that section of the forums.
Professor Dragon Posted September 16, 2025 Report Posted September 16, 2025 (edited) I've just come across a cave with bright fog in it also. Edited September 16, 2025 by Professor Dragon
