Fishing trap

Hello dear Game Masters!

I cant find somthing for catch fish, excluding pike. Maybe you can add in original version fishing traps and fishing net? Coz we have a very large oceans and lakes and etc water resuerses with billions tonnes of a lot of different fishes) Sorry if this theme was create early) I am a new in game))) And sorry my english))

Welcome to the forums! The good news is that fishing is already on the roadmap. The bad news is that we don't know when the devs will implement it. However, the good news is that if you're open to modding, the Primitive Survival mod offers a few ways to fish along with other neat gameplay bits(although you may want to tweak the configuration files if you don't want Cthulu in your game).

There is (or was) also a mod that allowed one to pole fish more or less like lots of other games have. And, I'd add, I avoid like the plague except when the story demands I catch a fish for some silly reason. Except for Stardew Valley, where it it the only way to get an early start on the mines and real advancement. But, even then, only until I have enough resources. Then I never touch any of the fishpoles ever again.

Really? Stand in one spot doing nothing but playing some goofy minigame that never has anything to do with core gameplay? Do you have any idea how many opiates I would have to take to do that?

In desperation for news, I checked the Twitter (X is not a real website) for the game, and they actually have a post about fishing with a couple images of Tyron holding a fish in game.

They also have a couple previews of the prototype of the new smithing system, and a trippy effect for eating certain mushrooms.

Hello) I didnt mean fishing pole. Its really very boring. I ment fishing net and traps. we have a boats here, we have a lot of water resuerses and why i cant use traps and nets when winter coming?)))))
