hstone32 Posted January 15 Report Posted January 15 My laptop is decorated with stickers meant to start conversations with random people who recognize them at school, the train, the bus, etc. Most of them are engineering related. Lately, I've been hoping to talk to people about my new favorite game. Hoping to add to my laptop a VS related sticker. Thinking either the tree logo, or one of Dave. Seems Anego doesn't have a merch store, and I respect that. I understand if they don't want to deal with the extra overhead of commisioning and shipping physical products. What I was suprised to find though, is that apparently nobody on etsy or redbubble had thought to submit any vintage story designs either. Is this game really still so niche that there is zero demand for even unauthorized merch!? maybe I'm not looking in the right places. Anyone know of any VS stickers I'm missing?

It is a niche game, but I'm not sure it's that niche. I'm thinking it may be more a factor of artists not wanting to risk copyright issues regarding merchandise, despite the fact that Anego is pretty clear about what they do and don't allow. Dave would probably be easier to get since the design is more open to interpretation. The tree logo though probably isn't going to happen unless there's official merchandise released, as it's the trademark logo of Vintage Story. From the homepage: Quote Can I create VS Themed merch? Yes, as long as it is unmistakenly apparant that it is unofficial merch. You may also not use it to advertise non VS related content. So for example you are free to use VS Art to print a T-Shirt of your Vintage Story Community if it also has a large logo / banner of your community on it. You may not use our Art to advertise unrelated products and communities. All merch that you produce must be clearly identifiable as unofficial. For the tree logo, I'm guessing someone could probably draw it in their own style and it would be okay as long as it was marked unofficial, but it definitely wouldn't be the same as having the actual logo as a sticker.
Professor Dragon Posted January 17 Report Posted January 17 Maybe make your own? Just download some of the official images and adjust to your heart's content. Local stationary/print shops let you do a print of even a single page of sticky labels at a cheap price.
