Calmest_of_lakes Posted January 17 Report Posted January 17 My system is on Linux, and I have a RTX 3070 & Ryzen 7 7700, and I wanted to get the most out of my specs on the game. On medium, I struggle to get 144fps with the recommended render distance, and I wanted to know how I could get a stable 144fps on medium or better graphics if possible. My install method is the flatpak on arch
CosmosLordJura Posted January 18 Report Posted January 18 I'd suggest first to try going on a lower distance as a benchmark and try to find the distance at which you start getting the desired fps. Then scale your other settings off this, as the render distance personally for me is the largest fps hog. I'd also suggest possibly adding a performance mod such as https://mods.vintagestory.at/optitime just to try and help with fps, though I've heard mixed success from it. Although if you're running other mods/visual shaders it may cause problems
