ToothedMammal Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 I'm assuming that it's based off of how irl ore reacts to being heated, but if anyone knows anything about metallurgy who knows what causes the sizzle pops I'd love to learn about why that happens.
Solution Vexxvididu Posted February 5 Solution Report Posted February 5 The bloomery gets at least to 1500C This will glow bright hot and just about any "natural" fuel will sparkle like that as bits burn off really hot. Normal firewood also makes sparks like that as it burns in the real world.
