Postpostings Posted February 22 Report Posted February 22 Want to ask a few things regarding the upcoming 1.22 update, first how will it affect an existing world? Do I need to switch over or will it work like in minecraft where all your discovered chunks are intact and its just new chunks that change? Second, should I bother doing large scale exploration and story stuff or should I wait until update comes out?
ifoz Posted February 22 Report Posted February 22 It is like Minecraft where new chunks will contain new content (if that content has to do with things generated in the world), but since the update is currently in the pre-release stage I'd advise against it unless you back up your world first. It's not a stable update yet, and so there's always the possibility that things could go wrong. 3
