Server whitelisting

I am trying to whitelist myself to the server (why must you do this? it should know you're the host and automatically add you) and can't for the life of me get it to work. It says there's no user with the uid "KaiseiDeer" and I tried adding myself with whitelisting on, with it off and even edited the playerswhitelisted.json file to add myself and it still says there's no user with my name and I typed it in twice maybe three times making sure the spacing, capitalization and spelling was correct. Also I tried joining the server but it still says I'm not whitelisted. It's a no go and I want to get a server working for a friend and this is my test for that.

Are you using any server providers that give you access to the console out side of the game and if yes what provider

The console command is the easier way, but if you for some reason don't have access to the console and can edit the whtie list file then see below:

 

You need your UID which is not your playername.

It's a mix of numbers and stuff. This is how the VS server knows who you are.

Example:"PlayerUID": "jUmaRpDmzhnf22XD/gJa7kO",

You can find it in your Playerdata Json file.

I got it working but it started 1.21.6 on my 1.22 world for some reason. Also all my mods are working and I no longer have any problems with the game stopping every 5 minutes and I can even cut grass and fell trees! It's a miracle!

For some reason mods like millwright and wooden torches are not there and they're supposed to be loaded is it not a server mod or something?
