Cursed Spud Posted March 24 Report Posted March 24 Is anyone else confused by this? When I saw the stat non-clay quenching raised was called power, I had assumed that meant the actual item stat it affected would change based on the item itself. So weapons would get more damage, and tools would get more mining speed. However I got to the iron age today and when I quenched my iron pick it increased the damage?? Also I seem to be unable to put my chisel in the forge, or apply fireclay to it so I can raise its durability. Is this a bug or are you not meant to be able to quench/temper the chisel?
LadyWYT Posted March 24 Report Posted March 24 Quenching and tempering mechanics are still a little buggy at the moment. I seem to recall both of these issues being reporting on the bug tracker already, but it doesn't hurt to double-check and make a report if you don't see it reported. 1

Ah interesting should it raise power then ? I was thinking it was damage only and durability if you use fireclay. I never imagined it could help the speed.

I seem to recall seeing a bug report recently pointing out that the feature wasn't working quite right. 1
