Well i need to report that today the experience was very good, rc8 fixed a lot of things i feel like, no crashes, queue is crazy in the afternoon but manageable in the morning for Europe. Even now i checked and it was 60 plp so that ok. But yes VS is to good just to good i have been playing solo en multiplayer if one of the two bother me i just switch and the experience is immaculate

Cannot find a way to keep the snow on, it did happen i remember with some chiseled but i cannot replicate it...

Actually copper roof and other snow layers blocks... after some research i was able to replicate it super easily guess it's time to github !

Posting here cause i'm not sure if it's useful... Playing on Tops, managed to duplicate a roof blocs by pushing snow in a weird pattern under the roof bloc, Youtube link and a "schematic" of what needed to replicate, wasn't able to replicate it in multiple direction and with other blocks. I was able to replicate it the same direction with other thatch roof blocs

The main problem i encounter with Tops now is that the queue thing and popularity conflict with the unstable version it run on, i'm glad to report crashes and all but waiting hours for that is a no no, it's a huge deal cause most of the sessions end up this way. Yes a vanilla official server is a very good idea, unstable with that amount of players no that good of an idea. And i cannot cope with the waiting the whole day running VS on my machine while doing some cores and stuff, from my experience that what most of the players i know do and it's not a good way to enjoy the game. Not playing, if you are a healthy individual. (Still gonna try today)

Yes you can set up claim to be use you by multiple, and you can even make it public or traversable, so you can make public cellar ect, the food you use on the server i feel is very different from what use in the solo, on the server i use lot of cheese, cured meat, grain, peanuts ect. So it's range to 3 to 7 years in the tropic. At spawn its even cold enough and on top off mountain is decades. Animals are supper easy to manage, i think crops have been patched but before that it was just super easy to plant your crops and let them for ever until you needed food. Trading to, since there is mob farms design possible at copper age, you can just buy the food like cheese.

About the food spoilage what are you thinking about, do you have an idea how to solve that ? I have some but i believe that would be crazy work to develop that, ain't even gonna try suggesting those idea

Hunger rate and food spoilage as been tweak properly i think on tops, from my experience, i believe its the same on the new tops from what my cellar is saying, the whole spawn as been claim 2 minute into the launch soooo, thankfully you are always 1 TL away from a brand new world even at Gearstad after years one TL could lead you to a lot of ressources and the roads where up and secure. The moderator already volunteer right ? It's look like it at least. But it's true that i would trust a paid moderator way more than a volunteer and if they had better tools and knowledge about the game, i don't even think they can really check logs and stuff bcs it always been an issue.

Yes brown bears two tap super fast now, in sp it's super hard, in mp i still can kill them by drawing circle and hit with flint spears... I feel like wolf are the same or like the animation is weird they jump on you miss and do an other bite animation that can get you. I do the same i turn in circles sprinting.

Ah interesting should it raise power then ? I was thinking it was damage only and durability if you use fireclay. I never imagined it could help the speed.

Yes sadly its the side effect, i think most of the players just left the queue, me personally i'm gonna let things settle, its to unstable and i'm not gonna lie i was waiting for this wipe a lot but actually i think tops is no more what i'm looking for. I had a lot of plan ect but early game is not that interesting on multiplayer servers like tops, i'm more into roleplay and less into huge dirt cube. When you look at the chat, i think you can see that there is like everybody who complain... But the launch was a unique experience and it was nice to see everybody online there !

It's a good thing ! I like to see it this way there the good and the bad things it depends on our experiences, not being able to play as you want is a no no... How is it after the upgrade have you try to join ?
