OBAMFSpike Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 Where do I post reports for crashes and such? I would like to start doing a better part of reporting problems as they arise while I play. Thanks!
Stefano Colla Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 I've seen that now they use the issue tracker. I'm not sure how it works because I never used it but give it a try. 1
OBAMFSpike Posted April 16 Author Report Posted April 16 (edited) Hey thank you. I checked it out. Have the site opened in the toolbar and I'll keep it at the ready. Ive notice in my playing that more problems occur the closer to a stable release. Whatever thats supposed to mean. I just noticed that my computer failed to register this crash report anyways. It occurred directly after opening the game on the taskbar after a forced quit involving no response between my cursor being stuck on the discord server and not being to steer my ship while sailing. Force closed and then it crashed when reopened. Edited April 16 by OBAMFSpike 1
Stefano Colla Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 Strange, but if you are playing in an unstable version these things are common or at least thats how understand it. I tend to only play in stable releases because of this. Also take into account your coputer specs, or if other games are crashing too. Sometimes is a hardware problem rather than a game's one. Hope I could help with something and good luck!
OBAMFSpike Posted April 17 Author Report Posted April 17 Im on the latest version. 1.21.5 or 6 whichever it is. Waiting for the stable 1.22 drop.

Is it just one world that crashes, or Vintage Story in general? Any mods that could be affecting things? Have you tried rebooting your PC or backing up your saves and reinstalling the game to see if that solves the issue? Unfortunately I'm not the best at reading crash reports, but from what I can tell it doesn't seem to be a mod causing the issue. Hopefully someone more experienced with Apple can shed more light on what's going on, but otherwise I'd say best to submit the crash report over on the Github bug tracker so the devs can look into it. Do keep in mind that if you are using mods, the first question will most likely be "Does the issue happen without mods", so it's best to verify that the issue can be replicated in vanilla before submitting. 1
OBAMFSpike Posted April 17 Author Report Posted April 17 I only play one world and its minimal mods at that but everything you've mentioned is dually noted and I will continue doing my part to iron out the ruffles in this exquisite linen. 1
