SlightlyMads Posted April 22 Report Posted April 22 I, and likely other players, would like an option to toggle on and off the new textures in 1.22 for things like lanterns, oil lamps, glass and traders. While the updated textures are clean and high-quality, I'm rather attached to the old ones. This isn't a big issue by any means, but I think it would be a relatively simple change that gives players more control over their experience of the game without having to install mods (which can be confusing for some people, and aren't always what they claim to be).
LadyWYT Posted April 22 Report Posted April 22 I think I would rather this be a separate texture download in the Client Area, so that players that really want old textures can download and use them, while still keeping the game files relatively small. That being said, I'm also not sure how well this would work, since things change regarding the code, models, and animations. It may not be as simple as just swapping out textures.
