I've always been a big fan of modding but I'm not particularly good at coding so I haven't dabbled much in making my own. I really want to try with vintage story. I'm working on a spell that adds craftable wands that follow the tool tiers and can store two selected spells, scrolls you can learn spells from, and scraps that you can craft into the scrolls. I think I have a good handle on the json files, I have crafting recipes, itemtypes, and a vague silhouette of the .cs files to make things work, but I'm stabbing around in the dark with no real understanding of what I'm doing. I also cant get the model maker to run on my Bazzite OS, the linux one launches in boxbuddy but onyl gives me a black screen. If anyone would be interested in helping, I'd be glad to share credit! I'm really excited about this idea and I'd love to actually play it.

But if you want to draw me a picture of the wands I will model them for you and send you the .json files, you don't need to credit me or anything, I'm working on my modelling so all these opportunities to improve my skills are appreciated

Simple straightbar with a cap on each side, the caps fetch textures from the ingot, the haft fetches it from the wood. If you'd want to make a model for the haft and the caps individually too, I have it set up to craft them separately then make the wand itself. I'm still name dropping you in when I post it if you're ok with that, i like giving credit where it's due
