Okay im back.

Ive gotten the prompts entered into terminal and nothing.

Password? (The password for sudo is the log pass for the admin account on the Mac and still no luck)

Determined I am. Failure is not an option.

Ive tried closing terminal out and it stated that the application sudo was still running and asked if I wanted to terminate that so ive left it alone at this point.

double check that vintage story is in your applications folder and that its name is "vintage story.app" or replace that portion with its current file name

Try this way instead. Slightly modified command and drag and drop will squish out a few sources of errors. If it says sudo is still running when you try to close the terminal, it's very likely it's still waiting for your password.

Alright so there were a few things that I've got customized about my setup in my earlier recording that seem to have confused things, because the reason the de-quarantining isn't working is that none of those commands are correct. Here's a new recording with all of my nonsense stripped out, so the whole process should look exactly like this:

Thank you! Followed your instructions above, deleted the file I was attempting to work with and opened a new download and viola. Thanks again. I think I learned something. lmao
