鼎 DING

“鼎”的原型是4000年前的陶器炊具，差不多就是用来煮饭的锅

后来商朝、周朝（B.C.1600-B.C.256）继承了鼎的形制，用青铜铸造巨大的鼎，成为了最高权力的具象象征，也是国家合法性的神圣载体。

The prototype of the "ding" was a pottery cooking vessel from 4,000 years ago.

Later, the Shang and Zhou dynasties (1600 BC–256 BC) inherited the form of the ding and cast enormous ding vessels in bronze, which became a concrete symbol of supreme power and a sacred embodiment of state legitimacy.

Oh this is lovely! Great chisel work.

It's a pity there's no way for copper to oxidize in Vintage Story to get that lovely green of the aged version.

对于我来说，从小到大不管是电视剧还是电影还是动画，无论哪里的鼎都是已经生锈的绿色、黑色的样式，但这些青铜器在当时肯定是金光闪闪的，能通过这个游戏让我一窥当年青铜器闪闪发光的金色，我多少有被感动到

打造好这个鼎之前我一直在想：“没关系，如果雕刻出来不好看就去做别的，就当练习了”

但是雕刻完毕之后我被这个鼎深刻的感动到了。。。

金光闪闪，气势恢宏，谁路过能不多看两眼，摆在高台上谁看了不会心生敬畏？
我能够理解到我千年前的祖先们为什么愿意打造出上千个青铜鼎了

For me, ever since I was a child, whether in TV dramas, movies, or animations, no matter where they came from, the Dings always appeared in rusty green or black. But back in their time, these bronze vessels must have been glittering gold. Being able to catch a glimpse of that glittering golden color of the bronzes from long ago through this game moved me, more or less.

Before I finished crafting this Ding, I kept thinking, "It's fine. If it doesn't look good after carving, I'll just make something else and treat it as practice."

But after the carving was done, I was deeply moved by this Ding...
Glittering gold, majestic and imposing — who would not take a second look when passing by? Placed on a high platform, who would not feel awe at the sight?
I can understand now why my ancestors from a thousand years ago were willing to craft thousands upon thousands of bronze Dings.
