Phillip Susi Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago My hunger rate is currently reading 112%. The wiki says that it can be raised by cold temperatures, but only when not indoors. I am indoors. I also tried making some grass clothing to keep warm and it did not change the hunger rate. What is causing this?

The interior space needs to qualify as some sort of insulated room in order to remove the hunger penalty from cold.

How do you do that and why did adding some clothing with +1 temperature not reduce the hunger?
Phillip Susi Posted 18 hours ago Author Report Posted 18 hours ago Ahh, right... I left two open holes in my hovel to see the light outside so that's why the cold was causing hunger. It went away when I climbed down the hatch to the cellar. Still, why does the grass clothing not seem to help?

The handbook does have some basic information on different room types, but the wiki also has a pretty detailed rundown: https://wiki.vintagestory.at/Room 1 minute ago, Phillip Susi said: Still, why does the grass clothing not seem to help? Clothing just increases the player's resistance to freezing to death, rather than reduce the rate they burn calories to stay warm in the cold.
