Harpendex Roh Posted May 25 Report Posted May 25 Im wondering if I can install world generation mods such as rivers and terra pretty, before regenerating the world's chunks. That way, newly explored areas or areas with low chunk edits will inherit the new modded terrain. Could I also do this with base game terrain generation changes? I have an established base but plan on moving to the story location area near Nadiya, but those chunks have not been touched yet, so I'd like the areas around the second chapter story locations to have nice generation, would this work?
Diff Posted May 25 Report Posted May 25 I think it would work, it worked for me with Terrain Slabs, but with more severe changes to worldgen I think there would be a visible seam between any new chunks and old chunks.
