Shoom Posted June 2 Report Posted June 2 I'm curious about these, I haven't encountered one yet, they were introduced in 1.22 and are spaced 1500 blocks apart from each other, that's all I know. Are there any signs or clues as to where they're located? Do they have a surface entrance like the archives or are they like regular cave ruins just much larger in size? Have any of you found any of these dynamic dungeons yet?
Solution Rainbow Fresh Posted June 2 Solution Report Posted June 2 From other posts I have seen, the do have (or can have) a surface entrance - so you will likely know when you come across one. That said, it's not necessarily the most obvious landmark so depending on the environment you might still need to look closely to find one - or find 5 right next to eachtother, like others did. Keep in mind, while the underlying feature allows for procedurally generated dungeons, right now there is only one variant in the game. 1 1

They aren't located in any particular spot, but after you've found the first couple and learn what to look for, it gets easier to find more. Currently there's only one dungeon type, and the entrance will look like a small, round hill with drystone peeking out from the dirt and two rusted iron doors on the front, similar to the special doors you see in the Resonance Archive. The entrances also tend to occur in larger flat areas rather than hilly regions, which also makes them a little easier to find. There's definitely more planned though, and some of them look pretty wild given some of the teasers that I've seen floating around. Edited June 2 by LadyWYT 1 1
BurgerDaddy Posted June 2 Report Posted June 2 I have noticed that they can be made of “out of place” rock material. Andesite cobble in a basalt field caught my attention pretty clearly.
