Shorter Circuit Posted June 3 Report Posted June 3 I hit a surface drifter with a bronze falx. A temporal gear falls onto the floor, and it's not dead. I kill the first one and another comes. Again, I hit it, and again, it drops a gear. I looked at the world settings and the mods I have installed and there's nothing that looks like it would do this, so is this normal?
Solution coolAlias Posted June 3 Solution Report Posted June 3 The falx has a chance of forcing the mob to drop a piece of loot (if it has any). Most (all?) mobs have at least a small chance of having a temporal gear. I believe you just got really lucky. 4
Maelstrom Posted June 4 Report Posted June 4 I will confirm, RNGeezus hath blessed thee greatly. Utter thine praises to the technology gods for thy good fortune. I have noticed that farming drifters during the night has always been a feast and famine situation regarding temporal gears. Kill 15, 20, 30 drifters and get nada but flax and maybe a rusty gear. Then by the time 35 and 40 comes along I've acquired 2 temporal gears and two or three rusty gears, followed by a hiatus in RNGeezus bestowing its goodwill upon me again.
