fishboi_ Posted Saturday at 03:45 AM Report Posted Saturday at 03:45 AM (edited) Recently after creating a new world to play with a friend we encountered a few bugs like our characters cosmetics e.i hair, skin colour, and the aforementioned animation stuttering when we stepped into rain, while we were able to fix the cosmetics randomising (we think anyway) it only really started happening after we created a new world with different settings even with our old mod pack when i loaded into our first world it was perfectly fine but when loading into a test world when it started raining the same bug happened, this bug happens with and without LAN on and no amount of graphics changes fix it (even happens to my friend with a better pc) i dont see any error logs on it either and i cant see any mods that could possibly cause this but i have so many it wouldn't surprise me if it is a mod causing it if anyone has this same issue or better yet a fix id love to know Video Project 113.mp4 Edited Saturday at 03:48 AM by fishboi_

In any case, I'm assuming you're playing on the most recent game version, in which case you'll want to make sure all your mods are updated for 1.22. Older mods sometimes work on newer game versions, but 1.22 changed some stuff in the code and broke a lot of older mods. If you have outdated mods in the list still, it's very likely those are what are causing the issues. Otherwise, the easiest way to figure out exactly which mod is causing issues, if there are otherwise no obvious culprits, is to disable them all, verify that vanilla works correctly, and then re-enable mods one by one and test as you do so. It's a tedious process, but it will be quite obvious which mod(s) is the problem when the issue reappears. 1

Sadly i tried a new world on both my old and new list of mods and had the same issue, and i am running the latest game version and all my mods are updated to work with the latest version too, say from 2 dependencies which i do not believe change anything to cause this specific issue as both only alter gui. as annoying as it is going to be you are correct, once i find it ill post it in here so that any other poor soul does have to go through the same process
Solution fishboi_ Posted Saturday at 10:01 PM Author Solution Report Posted Saturday at 10:01 PM Finally i fixed it. as it turns out if was the mod "unique weaponry" what about it was causing this issue i do not know, maybe it was incompatible with another mod maybe it was just the mod its self but it would make the animations to tick over and over again causing them to loop and you would end up with like over 5000 ticks for just those animations either way this was what was causing it
