Just got a new computer. Do I need to buy the game again to reinstall VS?

What the title says. I tried to move all my files, including VS, onto a portable hard drive, but I can't find it anywhere on the new computer after moving everything over as best I can. The store won't let me buy another copy of the game, so unless there's something I'm missing, am I just short out of luck?

VS ownership is based on account, so i think you should click on where it says 'Client Area' at the top to get a fresh install, log in using your vintage story account, then import your worlds. (not quite sure how that part works personally!)

Once you buy the game, you ought to be able to install it on as many PCs as you wish. If you can't find it after moving the files, you can download it again from https://account.vintagestory.at/. You won't have your worlds or mods or settings unless you move them over, but you can play the game just fine.

One purchase is all you need, game account should allow you to get installer(s) in the client area. Also too in the client area you can install older/legacy builds if you have a modlist dependent on legacy builds of the game.... One catch though, signing in on one install should log you out of the previous install

Thank you all sooooooo much! Setting everything else up again on my new laptop has been stressful, lol!  So hearing that I was just looking in the wrong place is definitely helpful!
