Starter base design (POLL)

I am currently working on making a design for a "Started Base" in my new LP world.  (Not Finished) 

I really like the idea of the big layered decks but I cannot land on a wood for the main deck. Currently it is half oak half maple. The rest of the house is oak but I am not sold on the main deck also being oak. At the same time I cannot find anything that looks right. Ideally it is somewhat of an easy block to obtain.

Any Ideas? I have also thrown the idea of replacing it with dirt and a retaining wall but I do want to keep the deck.

Personally I'd go with Kapok.  Although Maple is pretty close to the reference in my opinion.  I think you can buy the Kapok seeds from some of the agriculture traders.

The build looks great so far.  Will be majestic once it's finished I'm sure.
