The way the wiki makes it sounds this is only available during October. I have yet to try it outside of October, I’m sure you could go offline and change your computer’s date to trick the game into letting you do it whenever. I did not test this but most games work that way.

One of the coolest threads I have seen in a long time! Are you doing these in creative or survival?

No issue! Please leave it in case others have the same question. During the month of October if you chisel a pumpkin the creative glow block is automatically added to the pumpkin. So all you’ll need is a pumpkin and a chisel! Please let me know if this helps!

Could you provide an example screenshot? Make sure you are away from any structures and light and hop into a cave. This way we can ensure there are no variables other than dark. Also, just in case it is not something you have already tired, Gamma is what you would want to adjust client side to effect your brightness.
