I'm wanting to create my own Survival Civ RP server in the fantasy setting. The plan would be to have the server run on a schedule instead of 24 hours. I've played on a server like that once for a couple days, so here is my experience with it: Everytime the server was up, I didn't feel like playing, was busy working or had other real life commitments. Eventually I ended up leaving and joining a server with 24/7 uptime. Only the unemployed can be certain when they will be available to play.
