Tyron has said several times that he has some interest in it, and various ideas have been bounced around since at least 2018 - in particular, Tyron seemed to like the idea for a wolf plushie and a tapestry or a mug. Some small-scale attempts (including the mug linked earlier) have been made, but were reportedly unsuccessful. Tyron has also said that they are "lowkey working on it" about a year ago - no idea what that's really supposed to mean, though.

There's nothing wrong with coffee mugs or tshirts and things, however, those items are also incredibly common and tend to be a bit low effort/cheaply made. Given the quality of Vintage Story, and that it likes to think outside the box in many cases, I assume that the devs would apply similar standards to any merchandise they chose to carry as well. That is, any merch that comes into existence is likely going to be stuff that's high quality, as well as likely to be stuff that isn't your run-of-mill dust-collectors. Personally I would like to see a hardcover artbook, however, that kind of item isn't something that comes into existence until after the game is considered finished.

But if for some reason that's deemed an insane suggestion, I wouldn't be opposed to something like a plush Locust or a rust-scented candle.

I would pay a premium for a Steel Flax, please take my money.
