Seniku Moonjewel Posted March 8, 2021 Report Posted March 8, 2021 Hello, I had not heard of this game yesterday buy saw a review of it today and it looked awesome, I have now bought it but I have a question. I wish to play this on my home desktop and at times on my work laptop. Do I need to buy another copy or is it legal to use the same version on two machines? 1
l33tmaan Posted March 8, 2021 Report Posted March 8, 2021 Good lord, of course it's legal to use on two machines! What is this, some kind of horrible dystopia? 1
Seniku Moonjewel Posted March 8, 2021 Author Report Posted March 8, 2021 Sorry, just thought it was polite to ask first.
l33tmaan Posted March 8, 2021 Report Posted March 8, 2021 You shouldn't be sorry, I'm just... shocked it's even a question?
DrEngine Posted March 8, 2021 Report Posted March 8, 2021 Seniku, you can use your account login to login at more computers. Simply use one of your installed games to login and you're fine...

To be fair, a lot of software licenses are single-machine only (professional tools most commonly do that), and some games used to have that too, especially the ones you'd get on a CD... 1 1
l33tmaan Posted March 8, 2021 Report Posted March 8, 2021 I remember having a sheet full of code that I had to input into the game as a form of copy protection. That sucked then and the same idea sucks now. The only thing worse is subscription-based models (*cough* Adobe *cough*). 1 2
Hal13 Posted March 10, 2021 Report Posted March 10, 2021 only thing is: you might need to backup and copy the worlds, or play on a server.

Or that, yes... But i thought they'd wanted to continuously play... it might be possible with the changes Streetwind showed in another topic, to just put the game and all the files on an external drive and just take it from computer to computer... will edit and link the topic later Here's the link: Edited March 13, 2021 by Hal13
