Jerky!

Hello! a new person here, though I may not have the game myself, I did get myself a form account, so I can share some ideas for this game until I can get it!

Now that stuff isnt important, what is are the things I want to discuss! Jerky is a common food used to travel, the making using the sun, heat and smoke to preserve meat, this could be a nice way to make long lasting foods!

I expected dried meat to already exist. Setting up some drying racks in a little mud hut and smoking it to death is what I expected but didn't see any drying racks in the handbook.

You may want to check out the Expanded Foods mod.  I don't know if jerky is in there or not.  If you play vanilla, the closest thing to jerky is throwing meat on a firepit and cook.  This is the only option for bush meat in vanilla.

Jerky is handled in Primitive Survival, not Expanded Foods.
