willie989 Posted September 23, 2021 Report Posted September 23, 2021 Hello, I really like the idea of the stone path adding a runspeed modifier. However, I'm not a huge fan of its appearance in mid-late game builds. I'd like to suggest adding a speed modifier to more blocks- specifically the craft-able stone and brick blocks. They are also more [street] road-like than the path blocks. As such, I think 1.4-1.5x speed would be perfect for the standard block/slabs. It would allow for more aesthetic flexibility within our builds while maintaining survival usability. 3
Omega Haxors Posted September 23, 2021 Report Posted September 23, 2021 My base looks like a joke because the floor is pathing. Support. 1
l33tmaan Posted September 23, 2021 Report Posted September 23, 2021 Not saying this shouldn't be in the base game, but if you're just talking about giving existing blocks increasing walking speed, it's SUPER easy to do, you could just patch a few .jsons and call it a night. 1

Sure, that shouldn't be too hard.
Omega Haxors Posted September 23, 2021 Report Posted September 23, 2021 (edited) I made a mod to give almost all crafted blocks speed bonuses. The exception are 'cheap' blocks like dirt get a lesser bonus and the metal blocks get a bigger speed bonus. Just waiting on a fix for the ModMaker.exe since it's glitching out making the update impossible to publish, will let you know when it's fixed. Edited September 23, 2021 by Omega Haxors 3
