Do Stone Path blocks count as full blocks for airtight room purposes?

When it comes to making a charcoal pit or a cheese curing room, is a stone path block at the top still considered an airtight wall?

Stone Path are category as gravel and if I remember doesn't count for the ones to be use as charcoal pit/cheese thing due to the "small" part of the block reduced.

is it okay for other rooms? you know the ones that do not need to be airtight
