  1. Id say still couple of months but yeah when its ready is a good answer

Id like the idea of a buff called "sugar rush" when you can for example move faster But looking at my kid here when he eats sweets i guess after some in game time the buff should instead change to a debuff called "sugar withdrawl" or something when for a while you move slowly, cant sprint and cant use tools
  3. In the Vanilla game its not yet available - they will in the next patch probably but its still couple months probably. There are mods though you can check like 'The joy of sailling' for example.
  4. I think any solid block is ok stone, dirt, wood doesnt matter. Make whatever you like
  5. Yeah try heading south and look around bodies of water - i tend to find medium fert soil even in hot southern regions near water GL!

  7. Ok so just a quick question as i played with generators in minecraft looooong time ago but never did one is Vintage Story before - can this be done in survival game or only in creative mode? Is there a way to transport lava? Can you simply get it in my wooden bucket (id guess not but you never know)?

    Grinding

    Well the game plays like normally - time passes etc - you could get attacked if youre grinding outside. He just means you can kinda abuse it by putting full quern of something pressing mouse button to start grind then while still pressing mouse button alttabing. When alttabed you can release the mouse button and do other stuff in windows etc, watch youtube whatever meanwhile the tabed game is still going and quern is still grindig .

  13. Or you can go with it from the other side i guess - if you have full 50 literes of limewater (or diluted borax) in a barrel you need to place inside: - 25 small raw hides, - 12 medium raw hides, - 8 large raw hides, - 5 huge raw hides Then youllbe able to seal them in

  15. Some big ones would be cool - like Arapaima in hot regions (jungle) or catfish in temperate climate. Or congers in the sea.
  16. Im 100% sure the ones that you pick up and place somewhere else will never grow. As to ones you leave on a tree im not sure but i think they will not grow either.

  18. Also for cattails I would add to plant them in the water - not 100% sure but i think it grows a bit faster if its directly in 1 block deep shallow water than if it just next to it. As for my begginings if i just want to build something fast and dont care how it looks i just use packed dirt - simple recipe looks a bit better imo then regular dirt and is a bit sturdier (takes longer to break then normal dirt) Then if I want to make something prettier still quite early on in the game cycle i would go for wood logs (and or planks if you have the saw already) and cobblestone and instead of bricks i tend to use mudbricks which are not bad looking and soooo much easier to obtain. For roofing early on i dont really bother - or use thatch. And if I want to make it pretty ill just put some nice tunes and start shingling
  19. I 2nd what Streetwind said - armor sets get penalties to aim (both spear throwing and shooting bow) - try it without any armor on and check the difference. On my current world im playing i use simple leather armor set for everyday activities - it has no penalties and its enough for those pesky drifters or occasional wolf/bear encounters. I switch for better armor while going deep cave diving or when temporal storm is abound
  20. I think I might know what the problem is - the type of rock strata of the surface layer. You can check the "ore deposits" section of the VS wiki https://wiki.vintagestory.at/index.php/Ore_Deposits And under ore generation - shallow ores check Cassiterite (this is the tin) - there you see it can only spawn in certain rock types - in this case its either: phyllite, slate, adesite, basalt, granite and peridotite. So if in the area that you spawned in or travelled the surface rock layer (the one that is directly under the dirt when you dig down) is something else that the ones metnioned above like for example conglomerate, sandstone, etc - you WONT find any surface tin around - as cassiterite wont spawn in it. I hope that helps
  21. Hi! I understand its cause of breaking block protection around trader? If its the leaves that block the path try maybe sheering them? Shears break leaves in a radius maybe it will be enough (i donno how big it is actually)
  22. Yeah I tend to do the same - i usually start near a cliff or something and dig into it a bit so i have to build less Usually near body of water for early reeds and farms. Ive never had trees as a part of my hut Must try with reddwoods maybe some time
  23. Dude i cant with You! Starterhouse? Mine is always made with packed dirt etc maybe occasional cobblestone no chiselwork and You come in here with this fancy stuff Great looking one man! Need to spend some time chiseling and make some nice stuff myself
