  1. @trashsouls It would be nice if they increased in difficulty. I see no reason why a day 11 temporal storm is just as deadly as a day 110 storm.
  2. Well I haven't read every reply, but so far what I am hearing is that single wolves shouldn't be so aggressive. So I think we all know that the solution should be: adding 2 or 3 more wolves to every wolf spawn! That way their numbers will reflect their current aggression levels. Good points all around.

  4. I love that you can hang cooking pots from your elk, but I don't understand why you also wouldn't want to hang crocks from the same spot. Is that something we can get added? Can we get the ability to fill our bowl up without having to take the cooking pot or crock off of the elk? Am I just not clicking the correct thing to do this?
  5. @ILoveBushy If you start with a horizontal debarked log, you can then add a regular log and its grain will be vertical, that will give you a single block with a wood grain that can go in either direction.

  12. Also there are 2 types of leather armor and only one of them can be used to upgrade to chain/plate, the jerkin is used to build the other armors. Yes a screenshot would be helpful.
  13. Can't imagine that there is a despawn timer for items dropped on death, but not just items dropped. I just drop mine in a hole and assume its on a 10 minute despawn timer by default.

  17. I've spawned on a wooden planks when 0,0,0 is in the water.
  18. I find this interesting from a survival perspective. If it would increase saturation loss delay more than just eating the items individually. If you found berries, meat, or vegetables after you already cooked the bread then you could combine them and make more of a meal out of it. I think pies should give you more of a bonus, but some would be nice.
  19. It was polished limestone. Kind of out of place, but I wanted to build something different after the castles and I wanted something like a lighthouse in that area. Edit: ohh yeah and it has some porcelain oil lamps (I think from bricklayers mod) to light it up.
  20. Torches inside the hole and a fence around it. You could also leave the immediate area and some of the drifters should despawn.
  21. I would disagree about abusing a system in a single player game. There are hundreds of mods (and game settings) that make things easier. Play how you like I would say. I use a translocator mod to teleport myself to a platform to jump off of. Now I have a cool glider course in the sky. By the time you can do that you have steel. A pack of wolves or a bear is hardly a problem. That's also kind of what I was referring to. You need to get through the archive to get the glider. By that time most people would be well established. Also a sacrificing a few inventory space is important if you are playing in vanilla. Like I said, a novelty item to be used briefly then packed away.
  22. I believe the auto map marker mod will create a second marker on the map that you have to manually delete. It is also convenient for many other things.
