Season 3 Restart Update! Greetings, everyone! Season 3 is coming closer and closer. Here are some important updates as we get ready for Season 3: Whitelisting Process Character Submission are open! The server itself will open with our first Arrival Event on January 11th! Keep an eye on the Event section on our Discord to know the exact time and date for all future arrival events. New Forum & Guides We have a new Forum designed to help you settle into Season 3! Resources include: “What can I do?” — A handy guide to help you understand your characters innate skills. A Current Profession List An RP call-up highlighting in-demand professions for the season. These guides may evolve as the season progresses and are subject to change! Culture Update Introducing Ulmwick, a brand-new culture for you to use! Time Jump Between Season 2 and Season 3, there’s a 20-year time jump! Which makes this perfect for a fresh start! We are looking forward to seeing you around to embark with us on Season 3 of The Expansion! Let’s make this season unforgettable!

Season 3 Restart Update! Hey everyone, We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates regarding Season 3 of The Expansion! Here's everything you need to know so far: Setting & Lore Updates • Some existing lore regions are being revamped. • We’re introducing an entirely new lore region, which will be revealed before the whitelist launch. Stay tuned! • A timeline has been added to “the setting” for more context of our Seasons. • Season 3 will take place 20 years after the end of Season 2 Whitelist Opening on December 20th • The whitelist will officially open on December 20th. • A small guide for recipes, tools and resources every character can use will be published before the whitelist opens! First Arrival Event The server will reopen with our first arrival event, which will happen in early January. More details will follow closer to the date. Map/Seed and Mods • The map/seed has been chosen! • The mod list is nearly finalized after considering all suggestions. We can’t wait to see how your stories unfold this time. Dear Community, The server has been a bit quiet recently, but we're excited to let you know that we're planning a Season 3 of The Expansion! While we don’t have exact dates just yet, we're using the upcoming weeks to prepare for a fresh start. Here’s what you can expect: • We'll be reviewing and possibly updating server rules and whitelisting • We’ll add more resources like roleplay-guides and lore regions – perhaps also expand on old ones. • During this downtime, we’ll also update the server to the newest version of Vintage Story (when it releases) and update our mods. Suggestions are always welcome! • There will also be occasional community votes to gather your feedback. • For Season 3, we’ll be working on a roadmap to ensure more structured story events, with one big story event each month to drive settlement narratives forward. There will also be a new map and an all-new settlement to build. If you are looking for a fresh start to an immersive Roleplay experience, this is the place to be!
