  1. Great way to corner the linen market
  2. That water mod is amazing and would add so much gameplay and beauty to the world. I can imagine the engineers copying the Babylonians by using wooden screws to pump water into floating gardens. However, and although I haven't used the mod before, I'm worried that finite water would turn oceans and large lakes into their own little tactical nukes since I assume that removing one block from the water's bed would cause hundreds or possibly thousands of blocks to update simultaneously and really hurting performance.
  3. A simple sailboat with two seats and a small inventory paired with continent/ocean generation would be the dream. I can imagine the adventures with friends to discovery strange and foreign lands.
  4. Love those ominous and mysterious hallways. Would be great for an adventure map if this game got support for that.
  5. I think this and maybe some kind of waterwheel would add a lot of aesthetic variety since sometimes regular windmills can look a little out of place in builds.
  6. The drifters look like short little gloops of material that have hardened into a grey hunchback creature with not a lot of character. This paired with how the drifters are always paired with temporal storms and other temporal talks makes me want to imagine that whatever temporal disaster happened in the past caused a lot of people from a lot of different times to be merged into one creature: the drifter. Imagine 100 generations of your ancestors being merged into one person, it would probably result in a derpy, brown and grey thing due to all of your ancestors' variety and color being averaged out into on person... *drumroll* the drifter. But yeah that's basically my fanfic on it. I don't think there's much to be discerned from the drifter since they're pretty boring honestly and should get some cool characterization like making dog noises or being super rare.
  7. Yeah I usually have them off entirely. I like the idea though I just think it's flawed.
  8. Creative and brave. I wouldn't have dared to use up-facing logs as the floor but it seemed to work out quite well. Nice
  9. I think some of my reasons for burnout are that temporal storms/drifters are cool for the first few instances but later just become an annoyance. Temporal storms end up just being sections of time where you go AFK on top of 2 block pillar and drifters are just fat little grey blobs that seem pretty out place from the rest the environment. I think temporal storms should be much more rare but much more violent with monsters and drifters breaking your base and causing panic attacks with their screams. I like the idea of having variations on temporal storms (light, medium, heavy), but I don't think there's much of a gameplay purpose for them since especially with the 'light' variation it would just encourage people to go AFK. Also I think that surface drifters should be very rare and/or be limited to temporal storms since they don't fit in and are more annoying than threatening. The real threat should from the wilderness and the existing wolves, which are very scary and can be joined by maybe some other scary animals like grizzly bears, lions, and possibly dire wolves.
