ok so it seems the second door was just "blocked" by the blocks on the right side of the 4x4 space we had, despite not intersecting with the door at any point, very strange behavior.

I have noticed that 2x4 gates seemingly can only be placed with the hinges on the left side, making double doors or even just a door that opens to the left impossible with them, am I missing something or is this just something missing from the game?

no it was 1.13.4 but I realized just now that I had installed the wrong version and I now feel like an ass. sorry about that!

This may be an issue on my end but for some reason this mod seems to remove the crafting recipe for the barrel for some reason. Doesn't really make sense, but is definitely frustrating.
