  1. I wont say that they will despawn, but they do however die if there is insufficient light.
  2. Take a look at these mods For coins used for trading (assuming you dont stick with the rusty gears): https://mods.vintagestory.at/coinage As for the actual trade mechanic: https://mods.vintagestory.at/vinconomy and https://mods.vintagestory.at/canmarket Both work well with each other
  3. The mod you want for rabbit/hare domestication is https://mods.vintagestory.at/cuniculture
  4. You want to seal the crock after putting in the food. if you seal it first, and then put the food in, the crock of food will not be sealed, forcing you to reseal the crock after putting in the food.
  5. Added a translation to the above
  6. Take a look at Medieval Expansion then. It has a cellar ice mechanic for cooling down cellars, and uses Glacier ice and lake ice to craft cellar ice. https://mods.vintagestory.at/medievalexpansionpatch As for obtaining lake ice, you can use https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/14853 or https://mods.vintagestory.at/harvestice
  7. Now if we can only get a patch mod for the refined soulstorm slop so it goes into the sauce pan, or cauldron as a liquid, and not into the output slot as an item. That would make my day.
  8. There is one now. Aging Barrels (https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/21579). Will be giving it a try tonight after work.
  9. dont know. but there are times, i got so disoriented with an attack, that sometimes in trying to get out i move in the wrong direction, resulting in me getting stuck in the centre of the blocks, unable to move any direction, and cannot jump. Made worse if I am stuck in something that is not dirt, and I dont have the appropriate tool on me to self rescue (ie axe for wood, or pickaxe for rocks).
  10. Glitching inside a block, after being attacked, with your back against a wall is a bug, and will happen a lot more to you.
  11. easy way to test that is to remove the boar from the right pen, and see if the trough is still decreasing. If it is, then you just located a bug.

    @-Glue-You'll love primitive survival.

I'm making use of primitive survival a lot and if i have to choose between it and better hoe, Primitive Survival is king in my eyes every time. I'll give the latter a try if they can make it a shovel instead.
  14. better idea, have the wandering bees create new bee nests every couple hundred blocks instead. Say every few in game months. during the late spring/early autumm.

Nice find. Would have used that myself. I'm using primitive survival though, and the above mod (better hoe) would have been better had it been a shovel.
  16. For me it was finding a massive crypt with over 10 chambers, and coffins inside. Banners all over the place. Might have been from better ruins though, and not vanilla.
  17. Finding out whether or not one of the inventions of Jonas caused the catastrophe that ripped time and space apart in vintage story.
  18. As per the developers themselves. The game is still under heavy development, much of the new content is still being fixed as problems are found, and as stated by the above people, there is still another 6 chapters yet to be added to the story.
  19. https://mods.vintagestory.at/trailmodcupdated That might help as well
  20. I agree with Thorfinn. Check if the room you are storing your food in is registered as a cellar. I only had one case of a crock with spoiled food, when the rest were good for over 200 days. and that was because I used some berries that i didnt realise was spoiled when I selected them to cook meals.

you can use packed dirt. it does involve you digging out existing dirt, but 6 dirt equates to 6 packed dirt. and is a good option for making dirt paths.
  22. Primitive survival does that exact mechanic. Still have to make use of it tbh
  23. tbh, i had a few cases of wolves running around the pit trap when on level ground. a 1 block high ledge solves that partly. and I certainly dont want animals dropping to their deaths either. means less meat that i can harvest later.
  24. I do the same when climbing flat mountain faces. Only difference is I rely on 6 rope ladders.
  25. Just make a 2 deep pit trap, that is 3x3. Poke the wolf, and run like the devil is chasing you. Jump over the pit trap, and the wolf will run into the pit trap. Then I just pick it off with spears and get the meat if I need it. For now, I got a wolf farm with 18 wolves trapped, and I am not in a hurry to kill them. Got too much meat stocked up again, and need to get rid of that first.
