  1. Mod updated / recompiled to work on 1.19.*
  2. Give the newest version a try. I have recompiled the mod and released working versions for 1.18.15 and 1.19.*
  3. Most likely you were trying to use the mod on 1.18.5 or earlier. It only works on the latest version of VS (1.18.6+)
  4. I've released a new version that will work with 1.18.6-pre.2 and future 1.18.* versions. Fixed agricultural traders not being recognized properly by the mod Added a German translation, thanks to GIGAAj1 Added support for all new waypoint icons introduced in VS 1.18
  5. https://mods.vintagestory.at/immersivecorpsedrop Corpses drop their items directly when harvested. Removes the corpse inventory UI. Github repo: https://github.com/egocarib/Vintage-Story-Mods/tree/main/mods/immersivecorpsedrop
  6. Confirmed today that the latest version of the mod is still working on 1.17.0-rc.3, in both singleplayer and multiplayer. Most likely it will continue to be compatible with the official 1.17 release.
  7. Are you using the correct version of the mod for your game version? I uploaded a version the other day that is intended only for 1.17.0-pre.1 and later. If you use that version with the current stable release of the game (1.16) it might throw an error like that. Edit: I've removed the 1.17.0-pre.1 version from ModDB because it appears to simply be causing confusion - several users were trying to use it with 1.16. If you'd like the 1.17.0-pre.1 version, you can get it here for now: https://www66.zippyshare.com/v/16ttEDgv/file.html I'll add it back once 1.17 reaches a release candidate status and has proper version tagging on the ModDB website.
  8. New version up now - should work with 1.16, and also adds a new Russian translation. Let me know if you encounter any issues.
  9. I will try to take a look at what needs to be updated for the new version within the next week or two!

    Class survey

Another game I play used to have similar character creation options where each option had significant bonuses and disadvantages. They revamped those options so that everything has only bonuses now, no disadvantages. It made things a lot more enjoyable, and many of the old options that no one ever chose (due to the penalties) now get chosen frequently and lead to a lot more variety and character enjoyment. Not sure what makes sense for VS, but I will say I almost always choose Commoner in singleplayer because I don't like the idea of the big disadvantages that come with other classes.
  11. Version 2.2.x New: Added optional hotkey that will delete the nearest waypoint marker on your map. New: Added 3 optional hotkeys to create custom configurable waypoint markers. Fix: Resolved issue that prevented separate players from creating auto map markers in the same place. Fix: Resolved duplicate chat notifications when waypoints are added in singleplayer worlds. Fix: Resolved "unable to connect to the server" message showing up when logging in to singleplayer worlds. Fix: Attempted to resolve minor/momentary lag when a new waypoint is added. Both 1.14.10 and 1.15.* versions added to moddb.
  12. Added a 1.14.10-compatible version of the update mentioned above. (it's marked as version 2.0.9 on moddb, because it doesn't allow files with duplicate version numbers)
  13. v2.1.0 Significant update. Added new options to enable creating automatic waypoints for all of the following: Traders Gold ore bits Silver ore bits Quartz bits Added an option to disable the mod, if you'd like to disable all automatic waypoint creation temporarily. Implemented proper client-server interface: Now works on multiplayer servers, provided the mod is installed on both the server and the client. You can configure <serverDataPath>/ModConfig/auto_map_markers_config.json to provide a default experience for your server. These default config settings are automatically transmitted to the client if the player has not already used the mod and configured their own settings. A default auto_map_markers_config.json is generated when the server starts with the mod. Changes to this file are applied immediately without requiring a server restart. Tweak: the mod is now disabled by default when first installing it. You can turn it on in the settings menu (Ctrl+Shift+M keybind). Tweak: map markers are now added immediately when you start interacting with harvestable objects, instead of at the end of the interaction. Fixed localization issue that caused some menu text placeholders to appear in the UI ("block-mushroom-bolete-*" and similar). Fixed dependency issue when attempting to load the mod with a custom --addModPath Fixed an issue that could prevent the mod from working at all when a certain startup sequence occurred
  14. I believe it would need to be installed both on the server and on the client side. But I don't have a server to test with and I do not yet fully understand the server/client modding divide, so if anyone else has advice, it'd be welcome. If you see any errors in your logs, let me know and that might help me investigate.
  15. Released a new version of the mod: Now supports adding map markers for a bunch of new things, in addition to resin. Has a full configuration menu, accessible in-game by pressing Ctrl+Shift+M. Changed name from "Resin Auto Map Markers" to "Auto Map Markers" Added a version that's compatible with 1.15.pre11+
  16. Hey Doug, They've moved the resin block to a new asset folder in 1.15.pre versions, which is why the mod doesn't currently work on those versions. I'm working on a larger update to the mod, and I'll see if I can get a version out soon that will be compatible with 1.15.
  17. https://mods.vintagestory.at/automapmarkers Automatically adds map markers to your map when you interact with certain objects. Fully configurable to add only the map markers you are interested in. Current options include: Add map markers when you harvest resin, berries, or mushrooms. Add map markers when you collect loose surface ores. Add map markers when you interact with traders. Add other custom map markers of your choice. Makes it easier to remember locations and return to those locations later, and eliminates the tedium of manually opening the map and creating map markers. Can also help to ensure you don't miss out on gold or silver surface ore, which are sometimes difficult to spot! The mod is disabled by default when first installed. To enable the mod, open the configuration menu (Ctrl+Shift+M by default, adjustable keybind), and click the Enable button. You can also configure all of your preferences from this menu, including the icons, colors, and names that should be used for each type of automatically created map marker. The latest version of the mod now works both in singleplayer mode and on multiplayer servers. Check out the file changelog for more details! This is my first mod, friends. I hope you like it.
