most likely, it just hasn't been properly implimented yet, but I also can't necessarily rule out some sort of jonas tech... although the energy requriments would be immense even for a type 2 civilization, let alone the mid to low type 0 that is shown.

was there another mod that did that? I got this game like 9 months ago or something... it was when 1.20.7 was the current stable build...

and on federal money printers... seriously who in their right mind thinks this level of inflation is at all acceptable? -

I might not often agree with the roach streamer but he absolutely was right about that... like karens absolutely have existed for basically all of human history, but for 99.9% of it they had ample means to keep them in check, then in the past 100 years or so society has lost said means, that is how karens went from basically invisible to being in charge of most world governments... like why is it that you need a permit to buy a gun in some states? why is it that you need dozens of permits to build a house? permits are merely a way for the state to control your actions, like what (besides public outrage) is stopping the US from denying conservatives passports/drivers liscenses? basically nothing. call me whatever you want but it won't change the truth... -

I'm telling you, the US is a karenocracy! -

here's a pretty good quote from my engineer friend "people design products, God designs idiots, therefore there is no such thing as a truly idiot proof product, no matter how many safeguards you include sooner or later God will design a dumber idiot" honestly, he ain't a bit wrong, like a certain level of safeguards can be good but the amount of idiot proofing in the US is massively overkill, like why do they need to put labels on tide pods saying not to eat them? why did my new dremel need to have a thing saying "not for rectal use"... like WHAT? doesn't that go without saying?! are people this effing dumb? -

yeah the same could be said for most of my dad's side of the family... they were jewish, Ukrainian, kulaks... literally all things that would get you g3nocided in the "tolerant soviet union"... the sole reason any of them survived is that my great grandma, her sister and her brother immigrated to the US... otherwise they would be in some mass grave right now... -
ok then it was a mod since the game called them a pilum...
-
I've been meaning to set that up, currently I'm just using the build in one...
-
I mean... you ain't wrong... maybe not entirely detailed... but definitely not incorrect...
-
no, your entirely correct!
-
IIRC there are pilums already in the game? or am I misremembering a mod?
-
as someone who has spent the better part of my adult life studying history, no. whenever you think the government won't do X, they for sure WILL do exactly that and probably already have at some point, do NOT EVER trust ANY government EVER. that has literally never once in all of recorded history gone well!

bUt ThAt IsN'T rEaL cOmMuNiSm! in all seriousness I think I'm going to fit in pretty well here... BtW vibe translated from gen alpha to English can mean something like "feels" or "agree", eg "that skeleton is giving off spooky vibes" or "I'm vibing with you" -

ok I like you already! I remember when one of my friends was just getting his construction company off the ground some crybully karen nearly ruined him financially... she tried sueing the daylights out of him for expecting her to actually do her effing job instead of just sitting in the truck for literally the whole entire day... when that failed the karen tried accusing him of SA... that also failed, why? because when the alleged SA took place he was over 300 miles away and she was livestreaming on her tik tok... the same audience she also used to review bomb his company... -

literally half of CoD BO6 is either direct AI or AI that's been cleaned up by a real artist... oh and these are $20 and $30 paid cosmetics in a $70 "AAAA" shopfront "game" made by a $900 billion dollar corporation... this is also the same company that is still charging $60 for games that have had full blown RCE exploits for years and gets sued for s3xual harassment often enough that they have an entire dedicated legal team for it... -
so in other words, I do need to travel half a dozen miles?
-
so its entirely normal to travel for dozens of miles just to reach the bronze age? are there roads that increase your move speed? are there horses? or carts? or do you just take 2 or 3 months to build a basic house? I feel like I'm missing something?
-
yeah because I ain't updated to 1.21.0-rc. 1, I don't know if seeds are different each version like minecraft?
-
I guess but ain't there places like England that have both tin and copper ore right near each other? also one time I traveled like 3 or 4 days straight trying to find hematite/limonite/magentite and still couldn't find any? meanwhile IRL I can take a 15 minute walk to some old gravel pits behind my house and find shit tons of (admittedly not high grade) iron ore of some kind (I don't exactly what kind it is, I spent most of high school fighting the system and geology is not my strong area) and even the odd chunk of native copper every now and then... yes I'm a blacksmith IRL...
-
uhh I don't really know of any but I might be interested in making something like that...
-
I've already tried quite a few attempts, the absolute furthest I've got was a copper anvil and some bronze tools plus also a sailboat. is it normal to need to travel a few thousand blocks to find tin or iron ore? or am I just being an idiot?
