  1. Can confirm mob looting is still difficult and mobs spawning in our well WELL lit house Constantly!
  2. I also love more realistic games and I love simulator games. This however, we're close to 100 hours in combined on my server and we're still missing a lot of content because doing one thing, anything we choose to focus on takes a TON of time and energy and resources, that then we have to refocus on to replenish spent resources. We have a farm, we have some animals, chickens, pigs, we have a bee farm (which hasn't made it easier given how many cattails I need to just make a single skep) and we have a nice forge area and a windmill. This morning I remembered you can make cheese and I felt like that might be a fun change of pace, till I looked up what that entails. Capturing bighorn sheep, which is a hassle to capture ANYTHING in this game because it has to either run from you or chase you, but to even find some, and then you have to do it twice so you can breed them and then you can milk the female if they have one. Keeping the animals fed has been a whole ordeal in itself and figuring out the farm in order to keep us and them fed through winter. Ugh. We'd love to build a sailboat but there is no body of water like an ocean around us to justify making one. Even a raft was useless. Game has been out for 4 years? I do actually love it, I love what the creator is doing mostly. I even paid extra to support, but for 4 years kinda seems like a lack of content, tons of really intricate ways to do something sure, but besides ores, what am I caving for? It's far too dangerous. We found a teleporter and repaired it (lots of resources there since it was crazy far from home) and used it to find another one (same deal) and then again just to another cave. I kinda get it, but the rewards aren't enough for the grind we just put in, when we break a vase just to get some cabbage seeds.. yeah just feels like it needs more content, not more time wastey things.
  3. I would personally love being able to find and repair stuff in ruins to then sell back to traders, maybe we can like repair the item and they can introduce some mechanic where you can clean them so they look nice. I would so enjoy spelunking for treasure to clean and repair to sell to traders. My gf and I spent days getting stuff for glue because we found some cool ruins, running back and forth trying to be quick so the glue doesn't harden, only to find out, the stuff we were repairing was still useless after repair and it simply gave you a decorative (basically) block.
  4. This is probably not anything near what you meant but your post made me think of it. If we had some kind of bird that we could send out once a day to scout for something in particular we need, maybe we need some copper for example. The bird will go out and come back, marking your map with the location it found of some surface copper deposits, or coal or clay etc. Something to help us not be wandering around spending over half the day to come back with nothing or venturing too far and getting stuck outside after dark, too scared to move because you can't see and can't make the 10 minute run back to your gear in the dark if the worst happens. Maybe I'm still too early game but I feel like venturing out too far from home is a disaster waiting to happen since spawn can't easily be moved (temporal gears are rare for us to find) and I am very much a nomad in survival games so this is kinda hurting me having to stay so close to home all in fear of losing my very very hard earned gear
  5. As long as it doesn't apply to drifters or the more common spawning mobs or they fix the spawning. I don't think many people would like be absolutely helpless against them at night for quite some time. Been playing for a week on a server and we are barely getting a handle on bronze. Some people sleep through the night, but I tend to avoid it because it uses up my hunger even if I had a full bar. I also don't mind working through the night if I have light. I use day for hunting/exploring, but I can't do that if I have drifters spawning but lack the resources/ores to make a magical weapon to even dispatch those low tier enemies, and don't even get me started on armors, we are nowhere near being able to make any consistently. The leathermaking process is kicking our ass.
  6. My input on combat in VS, taking into context it is a similar blockish game like MC and my very extensive varied gaming history (What I have seen work and not work in other forms) Obviously in keeping with the hardcore theme of the game compared to MC, I think the combat should potentially reflect this a little bit. Add not a roll button, but maybe a side step so combat can be more dynamic and not simply "stand in hole and poke with long stick" because as it is, it's almost impossible to dodge in any meaningful way a wolf, bear or a ram. Trying to dodge a ram with a timed jump saw me launched off the mountain because he still somehow made contact. Make using the shield similar to MC Java, currently as it is, the shield works like in bedrock and I'm not a fan at all. The spear and the falx are the only weapons I've used, so I'm not sure if there is one that does any kind of sweeping damage but there should be, it would be nice to have various styles of combat to choose from, although most classes seem to debuff melee sadly.
  7. I feel like then maybe it shouldn't be used.. don't give their work more attention On the topic of drifters, my only real gripe is that they can seemingly hit me (melee) even when I'm standing further away than their reach and they aren't throwing rocks.
  8. I mean it's partly what made MC so popular because it made a killing on youtube and the whole creep factor with kids. I still remember the early 2012 days, ah good stuff.

    Warframe

I actually love Warframe. I used to play it a lot more earlier on. My only con with it is that there is so much content, it's hard to get new people into it and it's hard for returning players to get a grasp of things again along with any changes made. I still really love it and the entire concept though.
