Tysm! I tried really hard to capture the lighting and atmosphere. Glad it translated well!

Came across a really unique-looking house while scrolling Pinterest and decided to recreate it in Vintage Story! Everything's to scale with the player, so it's quite pleasant to walk around in. Creative light blocks were used under the cabinets and stuck in all the other spots electric lights were in the photo. I'll be sticking bits of this build up on Chisel Share when I get time. This is the first time I've shared my chisel work online so let me know what you think!

Because I spend a lot of time chiseling in creative mode, I've gotten really really tired of staring at the bland superflat world. Using a regular wordgen as a base, is there a some kind of invisible block I could place on top to act as a floor? I just want something to look at while I'm working but not be able to fuck it up with a mis-click. TLDR: I'm looking for something that functions similar to a Barrier Block in the OtherBlockgameTM.

I recently found Schematic Story! It's a student project, so there's no active users yet (just some placeholder profiles). They made the site's backend available through github, so I think they're planning on keeping up and running long-term if they can. Chisel Share has been up for longer and has an active userbase. But it's for smaller schematics, not huge builds.

Not sure what's going on here. It took almost 15 charcoal to get up to temp, crawling that last 100 degrees. When it got to temp, the crucible didn't become pour-able! It started going down degrees! Recording 2026-08-02 200340.mp4
