I actually developed my own tools to help create complex things like this. Even with them making the process much easier, it still took a crazy amount of time. Without my tools, I honestly think this project could have taken 200+ hours. Thanks to them, it took me a little over 71 hours to build the whole project in Creative. The chains are vanilla and can be found in the creative inventory, but they cannot be obtained in survival. To use them in survival, you either need the Better Ruins mod, which adds a crafting recipe for them, or you can simply take them from the creative inventory.

I’m glad you liked the build! I can’t give you an exact answer because I built this chicken coop quite a long time ago and don’t remember what size the opening needs to be for chickens or hares. You’ll need to test it while building.
