  1. Anyone know what causes this strange four-colour issue? The sprite I'm using is a custom png image, but it's all white with transparency and the problem occurs even when I swap to other images. The colour split is centered precisely on the crosshair. For example, if I move the crosshair down and to my right, the entire sprite will appear green -- which means screen space issue, rather than vertex colour issue. I assume I'm doing something stupid in the code but I'm either ignorant or blind to it from staring at it too long. Relevant code below in spoiler:
  2. Default time to grind something in a quern appears to be hardcoded to 4 seconds in the BEQuern.cs via maxGrindingTime(). I'd like to request we have access to changing that time inside the "grindingPropsByType" property. Something as simple as "grindTime" to set the time exactly, or something like "addGrindTime" for adding more time to the default (I don't suspect there's much point in lowering below 4 seconds). This would be useful for modders to make some items & blocks take longer, representing a more difficult task, or to encourage automating the quern with a windmill. Very minor and hopefully easy change to make. Thanks!
  3. I was just now looking at: https://github.com/anegostudios/vssurvivalmod/blob/master/BlockEntity/BEQuern.cs And while there's a maxGrindingTime(), it looks like it's hard coded for 4 seconds. So I guess the answer is: no, you can't change it, unless: The devs are willing to add a plug for it in the future I'm willing to do something excessive like a runtime patch (no thank you) Making a special quern just for this grinding process as its own machine (which also feels a little over the top) I suppose I'll just live with the 4 second grind time, even though it feels a little fast for this process.
  4. Heyas! Done some excessive searching and haven't found an answer. Working on a mod that with some itemtypes and blocks being grindable in the quern, and using the property "grindingPropsByType" to achieve that. Everything works just fine, but I'd like to make some things take more time to grind, and can't figure out the correct field to use, if there is one. Even checked as many examples of vanilla items in game to see if I can find any that change the time to grind, but have come up empty. Also tested changing the "materialDensity" property to see if that would affect the time, but it doesn't appear to. Is it possible to change how long it takes to grind something? Thanks
