  1. We (a group of 3) decided it wasn't worth the trouble dealing with the storms on a Vanilla setup, so we decided to 'powernap' through them out whenever a storm is immediately. We lose a few hours of that day, but the tradeoff is not dealing with the said storm at all after realizing they weren't worth the effort.
  2. I'd usually go with this concept:
  3. Sure, but I don't mind the 'danger of the unknown' kind of thing if you delve into forgotten ruins and buildings and find out they are not as empty as you hoped. The bell alarm 'gauntlet' was a good moment of tension in the Archives to never fully let your guard down, though the 'boss' fight was pretty bad to deal with.
  4. Why not? If you can be creative enough to kill a boss with 5 beds (through whatever means, gravity or otherwise), then they should be rewarded for their unusual approach. Same reason you could set up a whole room up full of explosive barrels in BG3 and have the boss have their dramatic entrance - Only to be flinged into a combined explosion of 20 smokepowder barrels.
  5. It could be something similar when you are on low health or far under your normal body temperature - The edges of the screen start to have effects on them that further seep into the middle the more severe it is. In this case, that could be something like a slow accumulation of a rust effect that builds up at the edge of the screen and slowly starts to go inwards the more the character loses stability. Up to a point where even the colors start to drain and the view slowly turns into a sepia tone.
