The traders do sadly seem to be bugged. Many just won't spawn in their structure at all. Some spawn in caves below their structure. I've also had some spawn in the ground and die. I have seen one fall from the sky and die. Seems their spawn parameters are bugged rn for the most part. I think 1/10 traders spawn correctly in a new world from what i have seen.

Can confirm. I am on the latest release and some Traders just do not spawn. This is a brand new world made for this update. Some trader huts/caravans are just empty, while few actually have traders in them. No issues with bushes thou, I have seen the older kinds and the newer ones everywhere, mainly the newer ones. But traders seem to have a bug with spawning. I did go into creative in another new world to see what was up and the trader was in a cave deep under his caravan. So there might be a chance that the spawn location for them does not have proper elevation data and might spawn them higher or lower than they should be. Heard one die in the ground as well.
