  1. I'm embarrassed to say this but the fix was as easy as watching the IT Crowd. I turned it off and back on again.
  2. All good, thank you for responding. I will just have to exercise my patience and wait for the Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
  3. Hi, @mard and co. I got my deck yesterday and immediately downloaded Vintage Story. I've run into the same issue as at least one other commenter - the keyboard is sitting behind the login window. I use (Steam X) to bring it up and it doesn't. When I quit, there it is so I know that the keyboard is opening. I tried the solution suggested in the steam link but that hasn't helped. I'm going to order a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, but I really wanted to start playing the game on the deck over the weekend. I saw your comment about rebooting into the gaming mode from the desktop which might fix it but I don't understand what you mean by that as I am a rank beginner. Any help will be appreciated. Meanwhile, I shall order a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Incidentally, thank you for the very helpful guide.
  4. I thought it'd looked through that for answers to my problem but I will have another look, tomorrow. Actually, I think that's where I got the suggestion from the link. Thanks.
  5. I just bought a deck and the first game I installed was Vintage Story. When I pressed play, I was unable to bring up the keyboard [shift-x]. I closed the game and the keyboard was there. So it's just sitting under the game. I did some trawling through the forum and found a link [https://steamcommunity.com/app/1675200/discussions/1/5950985868222095729/] to a steam guide another person had posted, followed the instructions and ... same thing. I've done a lot of googling over the last 3 hours and am stumped. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm calling it quits for the evening but live in hope that someone has a miraculous answer for me

    Anvil Mould

Anvil moulds become superfluous very quickly and, if you don't throw them away, just takes up space. I think it would be awesome to combine it with a dirt block and turn it into a flower pot. After all, we do that sort of thing in reality to recycle no longer useful items. It'd be cool if we could do it with old boots, too.
