The funniest thing i've seen ever in a video game was stumbling upon a wolf casually sleeping at the bottom of a pond, which had a thick layer of ice on top.

Is there an easy way of changing the speed of boats? Haven't seen any mods for it yet and would love to play around with faster boats in my world, see how it feels.

The boat speed is baffling. Since there is nothing of intrest in the oceans you just spend 20 minutes holding down the w key while ocassionally pressing a / d. This feels wrong, if there is nothing of intrest in the water at least let us get through it faster so we could actually play the game! The method I use while sailing / swimming is just placing a small heavy object on the w key and leaving the game running while I go do something more interesting. Feels like shitty game design to me. I think, the boat speed should get doubled or increased even more, cause right now it is basically the same speed as swimming.

I think this was changed from 1.16-1.17. I do not think you can harvest mushrooms without destroying the stem nowadays.

I guess you just got unlucky with the "reward" of the treasure chest. The single collapsed chest on an aged wooden slab contains the whole reward. Try buying a new map and maybe the treasure will be better this time.

Throughout my playtime of Vintage Story I have noticed that the moons size changes from time to time. This would not be shocking if the size of the moon would alter just slightly but when it grows four times larger than usual it appears quite spectacular. I was wondering if any of you have ever noticed how the moon keeps changing it's size and how big it gets. I do not believe the moon gets this close to Earth in real life so maybe this is just a nice quirk of the game.

Press spacebar while the map is open to instantly center the map view on the player.

Make it a simple tool you carry around your base. No durability but faster ignition speed would make it a great replacement to the torch in mid-late game.
