Hey guys. My husband and I have a joint world where we are approaching 200 hours. We're both still pretty new to the game so I have taken the liberty to work on animal husbandry, and I am so stuck on these chickens. Recently (about 2 months in game ago) I moved our chicken coop a greater distance away from our main base because I was struggling to get them to incubate eggs without starling them constantly. Currently we have 4, gen 4 hens and 1, gen 4 rooster. After moving them to their new spot I have had zero egg production. Portions are being eaten from the troughs but none of my hens have a status update that say, "X portions eaten", etc., like they used to. I have 12 nests and 2 troughs that I keep as full as possible w/ grain. I even AFKd near their coop for an entire in game day to see if anything would change since I started to worry about chunk loading issues or something but again, portions would be eaten but nothing would change. What am I missing? Below are some screenshots of the coop. I once thought that the chiseled ramp might have been the issue, but I only have feed in the building, and the chickens seem to use it just fine. You can also see a screenshot of our map. The red x icon is where our main base is, the green tree icon is where the old coop is, and the blue spiral icon is the current coop. I appreciate any feedback.
