Resonance Archive Not Spawning?

I've been playing on this world for awhile and explore for quite awhile, but when I got the map and tried to use it it keeps saying "No Location Found on this Map", I tried getting other copies from the trader but they all don't work.

I have a number of mods but, can't imagine anyone of them would cause the Archive to just, NOT spawn? I made the world in the latest release, but when I did it said I'd created the world on an earlier instance, could that be it?

Looks like your world is a pre-1.18 world. I know you said you created it in the latest release, but it's clearly behaving like it's older.

Try and see if you can replicate this effect when you make new worlds. If yes, remove your mods and try again. If the problem persists, that's worth a bug report.

If you cannot reproduce it, you have two options:
- start over in a new world that doesn't have this problem
- force-spawn the archive in your current world using admin commands

I've tried both, creating a new world with no mods installed. It was fine, tried it with all my mods, and was fine.

The only thing I can really think of that I didn't try was that I used a seed? Edited the settings slightly?

Same issue here, get the message "No Location Found on this Map" The world is from 1.19.  The previous map we played had it when we were on 1.18, updated the software and had it create a new map and now no Archive.  So this is NOT a pre 1.18 map.

When trying  /setstorystrucpos resonancearchive l[] true & /wgen regen 6  get the error "An exception was thrown while executing command. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.. Check error log for more details.

Looks like we have no option other than creating another world, losing all the work we did and hope it creates a new one correctly.

I suspect because that's two commands, not one. Of course it errors out when you enter it like this 😄

/setstorystrucpos resonancearchive l[] true places the virtual anchor for the structure. You must be looking at a block when executing the command. The structure will be centered on that block's x/z coordinates.

/wgen regen 6 should be executed in the same chunk as the block you targeted with the previous command. It consigns an area of 7x7 chunk columns, centered on the chunk you are currently in, to the void and rebuilds them from scratch using the world seed. Because the game now knows the resonance archive's structure anchor is in the area, it will also generate the structure as part of this. Note that because of the archive's size, it wants to be under mountainous terrain, and so this command will lean towards making mountainous terrain even if the world seed says there should be plains there. So you can expect some ugly chunk borders unless you picked a location that's already mountainous.

Yes, I did it as two commands the & was not part of a command.

Never got it to work. We did get it to tell us there was an archive but when going to the location and digging there was actually never and archive there even thought using the map would tell you there was.  We ended up having to create a new world and starting all over again.
