Time on a MP Server

How do I get my MP server to keep running even when people are offline? I have a server for family but really want time to pass even though no one is on as we don't play a lot.

If you stay in the game, it will run whether or not anyone else is. You only starve to death once. I assume they never changed the fact that time progresses while you wait to respawn.

SO there is no current way to have time progress while no one is on?

There absolutely is. In fact, it's a config setting.

While logged in as a player with admin privileges, type into chat:

/serverconfig passtimewhenempty true
