rail and minecarts

Hello, are the game or mod developers planning to release working minecarts that can be used to move around the game world in the near future? I would love to build my own train stations, and it would make moving between bases much easier, the lack of means of transport is definitely one of the biggest disadvantages of this game

There's at least one mod that adds such things.  Check out the mod database through the link in the menu at the top of this page.

there is a railway mod, but you can't drive these carts, you can only transport items
