Veroc Risul Posted February 6, 2024 Report Posted February 6, 2024 Hi! Just got two questions about this. Firstly, will be my crops continue to grow is I'm thousands of blocks away? From what I can find it's based off the world time so they should update when i get back into render distance? Secondly, Does this also apply to animals? Thank you in advance!
Solution Maelstrom Posted February 6, 2024 Solution Report Posted February 6, 2024 Yes, crops grow while chunks are unloaded. I believe that is the case for animals and curing foods like cheese.
Thorfinn Posted February 6, 2024 Report Posted February 6, 2024 And bees in apiaries swarm, but I'm not sure wild hives will. I'll see the message that it will swarm in 2 days, come back in 3, and it still says it will swarm in 2 days. Other times, it will have swarmed. No idea why. Maybe if you end up loading too many blocks exploring, it unloads that one?
Veroc Risul Posted February 6, 2024 Author Report Posted February 6, 2024 Yeah, First time breeding chickens and i swear it's been like a week in game, and the "will hatch in 5 days" is now only down to 3. Thanks again!
